2023 McLaren Vale Montepulciano/Mataro

The 2023 Montepulciano/Mataro was field blended from a single row of each variety and co-fermented naturally in a small open fermenter (approx. 2/3 Monte & 1/3 Mataro), with no additions apart from a small amount of SO2 at the end.  Only four barrels made. 

An earthy blend of co-fermented Montepulciano and Mataro, full of dark berry and plum flavours with floral notes and a soft, savoury palate.
